Angry 2018 Grayhawk 30XP Fusebox meltdown

Recently took a job in the DC area and decided to set up shop at the Fort Belvoir Travel camp. I come back to the unit after work one day and discover none of my 110 outlets had power. Went to the fuse box, GFI was tripped and would not reset. Still in the "tripped" mode though I hear a sizzle and pop sound. Open panel and this is what I saw. Immediately shut off power to unit and called Jayco. Was forced to move into a hotel for a couple of days and due to the earliest service date being March of 2019, had to sign a lease for an apartment since I was using the unit as temp housing. Jayco got right back with me and wanted to see pics. They coordinated with a dealer in Gambrills MD to front load my service. Anyone else encounter this? I have not heard from Jayco since sending in the pics. In October had the unit serviced at Camping World Savannah GA for the furnace wiring recall and a host of other items all under warranty. Have to say not to happy about all the fuss.

Document everything including phone conversations with Jayco. Make sure you get the name and correct spelling of the person you speak with on the phone and write down date and time and summarize the content of your discussions. If itís under warranty Jayco will ultimately make it right albeit not necessarily on the schedule you would like. If you make an appointment for the factory in Middlebury make sure you get a confirmation of the date in writing (preferably an email) so there can be no confusion when that time arrives. Itís frustrating enough when you experience issues such as yours let alone having to coordinate the repairs. Since you havenít heard back from Jayco Motorized CS since you sent the pics then give them a call and ask for an update. Donít leave anything to chance. Good luck to you.
