I had the 42" jvc plasma. You have to tilt it back to clear the upper cabinet and lift it straight up several inches. This is a two man job. Hope this helps. Dave

I have a 45' TS Select with the original 43" Pioneer Plasma. Similar to an earlier post, loud pop and then dead. I'm at the TV repair place with the coach and we are not able to get the TV out. We have removed the bottom speaker and the brackets at the bottom. The is plenty of clearance above for the TV to lift, however we can't get it to release from the top bracket. Is there a secret?

I took the 42'' jvc out of mine. There was a gap behind the upper cabinet. I had to tilt it back a little and straight up several inches. This takes 2 people. It weighs about a 100 pounds. good luck Dave

Lift it all thed way up, The top will go a little above the top front cross piece and tip the bottom slightly forward and then let it down. A wall bracket is screwed the the back panel, it will stay.
I had trouble when taking mine out with the same problem. I finally just yanked it up as hard as I could and as far as I could and it came forward and out. The problem is the power supply failed and if you type the TV model, type and problem out as an internet header you will see it was a problem with that model, but they only fixed it for free for the first 3 or 4 years. It cost about $450 to $550 parts and labor. You could buy a new LCD for a few hundred dollars more unless you have a ext warranty contract to help fix it. Dave W
