Thumbs down Back up camera

Well seems each time we go out on an outing something goes wrong. This time on our 2015 Jayco Precept UL the back up camera seemed to be shorting out or not working at all......Help!

What do you mean by "shorting out". Was it blowing fuses of just flickering? If it is flickering or going out and coming back on I would check for a loose connection. Please provide some more specific details on your issues. Does the disparate go totally blank or do you just loose the picture?

It is not blowing fuses, you have checked connections in dash and at camera. It just looses picture after flickering.

That still sounds like a connection issue somewhere. I do not know which camera and display you have. On mine there is a power and several other switches on the display itself. It is possible there is some moisture or condensation from humidity During storage in one of the switch contacts. Try adjusting and cycling all of the display buttons and see if that has any effect on the problem. It could be a bad camera or display unit itself but, I would try the simple no cost stuff first. Was there any correlation between bumps, rough roads or rain when the flickering occurred?
