Just before we Winterized our coach last year I had a problem with the bedroom surround sound system. When I turn on the system all I get is a loud humming sound. When I turn it off I hear a loud POP when it shuts down. I have checked the reciever under the bed to make sure the connections all look ok and there is nothing obvious. Everything looks ok. I have not started taking down speaker grills yet.

Anyone else ever run into this, or have any ideas?

I also have the same problem. Not sure what the issue is and have not investigated it further. Any info someone could provide would be helpful. I though maybe my brain, that is not audio functional, was not understanding how to use the system. Now I see there is hope. I also have a 06 Select.
Thanks for any help.

Too funny! I will beat it this year! Unfortunately I don't get to use the coach as much as I like so troubleshooting time becomes difficult. However, we bought a vacation home that the coach sits on which gives me lots of room to troubleshoot.

So you don't get any sound out of yours either? I get a really faint sound that sounds horrible, but that's about it. The worst part looks like it is a unique system with unique cabling going from the DVD player to the reciever and god knows what sort of routing that takes!!

I will keep you posted on what I discover.

Sounds identical to my problem. I think that I can get radio on it but with high volume and humming. I never really thought about it much since we generally just watch TV for a short time prior to retiring.

As far as the noise on the passenger side the only time I have that is when the door becomes ajar. I think I have fixed that problem thanks to another TS owner on this site.

Not sure about the air leaking from the air bags. I think it is in constant adjustment and when the air gets to high it releases to get everything balanced again. You must have good ears I haven't ever heard that except when parking or sitting and idling.

We too also havent been able to use our coach as much as we would like. Its funny how work gets in the way on that issue.

Let me know if you find anything on the surround sound. I sure would be interested in knowing.

Thanks, Gary

Did you ever figure out the rear entertainment system humming and how to make it work?
Gary
