Bob

I'm new to IRV2. That is I havn't used it much.
I tried to look up performance (power (chips) for gas engines. Couldn't find much in conversation. If anyone could direct me to their disscussions, I would appreciate it. I get about 8 miles per gallon. Also on cruise control, the engine purs about 2700 rpm. When I go up a little overpass, it kicks in and revs up to almost 4000 rpms for a long time. I feel its not necessary to go that high in such a short climb.

I have a 2007 Jayco Melbourne 29 ft. Class C RV. It has a Ford E 450 chassie, V 10 6.8L gas engine.

Does anyone know if a performance chip is worth buying and or what to buy. To get better gas milage, to slow down the RPM, and to stop the transmission from kicking in to 2 lower speeds, when increasing to 4000 RPM.
Thanks in advance
