You might try looking inside the door frame where the hinges are.. You could have a lose screw in there which is pressing against the outer frame when you close the door.
This happened to me and i only realized it because the head of the screw finally broke off from the impact and was laying in the door frame. Thats when i realized the screws were loose that held the hinges inside the frame of the door.

We had the same issue with our 2016 Alante 26ax. The door lock is available with two different pin lengths. Ours were too short, the dealer ordered a new lock set with longer pins (5/8" if memory serves) this solved the hard door closing problem. Dealer also changed the door gas shock from 10 lbs to 20 lbs, now the wind doesn't slam the door shut. Hope this helps.
I have a 2017 Jayco Greyhawk 30x, my door shuts easily but sounds like a hundred crickets going down the road. The dealer adjusted it and it became worse.
If by hard closing are you saying that just the latch is hard to get to latch? If so, squirt some WD40 on a paper towel or your finger and apply to the door latch and strike plate. Problem solved.
