Cable TV at Campground-need help

Hello all. We have a brand new Greyhawk 31FS and can't figure out how to get cable working. When we scan for channels, it finds them, but everything is really fuzzy (snowy) and you can't really see anything. Happens on all TV's. Can someone help?

Have you turned off the amplifier? Should be a button on the face plate where the cable that goes to your TV from the wall.

If you have an amplifier on your antenna , it needs to be off. Possibly the cable at the CG is faulty .

Cable TV at Campground-need help

It's usually on a switch plate like this and usually near the selector switch for cable / tv. It has a light , either green or red.

Try a differing connection at your pedestal. Reach over to another pedestal if need be. CG cable connections are frequently flaky.

Also, be sure your TV's are set to CABLE mode. They're usually default to OTA or ANTENNA. Go to your TV's menu button to get to the setting.

If that little green light is on, then the antenna amplifier is on, and you won't be able to use the cable. There HAS TO be a way to amplifier off! It's usually a small push button on the plate.

Awesome, enjoy... out of the 107 cable channels that we pay for, there are about 8 worth watching. What a deal...
