We have had GMAC RV insurance (which in now National General) for the last 10 years on different coaches. They specialize in RV insurance and have full replacement coverage for the first 5 years. We have never had a claim but the people I have heard of that did have claims say they received excellent service.

Get a Free Quote for Discount RV Insurance | National General Insurance

Everybody's insurance rates will be different based on the location and the applicants credit history and driving record.

I just purchased a 2014 36 REQS Pinnacle. Got my insurance thru Good Sam. They have a program thru National General Ins Co. Coll & Comp with $250 ded. $550 per year. This is also a replacement cost policy for the next 5 yrs. So if the unit is destroyed in 2017, I'll get a 2017 model at no cost.

Give Good Sam a call.

Suggest you indicate your home state

It may make a difference - as some companies don't offer coverage in every state
(although you are still covered everywhere).

If you have coverage of your home and truck through an independent agent, he can shop for the best deal. Until we sold the house and went full time, we had the trailer covered by the vehicle policy and the home owners policy. The premium addition was less than $100.00 per year set up that way.

Sure they are willing to write a separate policy, but there are other ways to get coverage.

Insurance

I just closed on a policy for a Jayco Swift with full replacement for 5 years, $500 deductibles for $28 a month. Its worth shopping around for good coverage. I use an insurance broker who is always checking for better deals out there.

Good luck!

When we bought our 2013 Jayco Whitehawk we went with Progressive. They offered the best coverage for the price. Our regular Auto provider treated it more like a car and depreciated the value. I was also able to get a better price through an agent then when I checked online.

Wow, that is high. Like 2x high. I just went through this on my 2014 32BHDS. I am paying $230 semi-annual ($460 annual). I have USAA and the trailer is attached through my USAA auto insurance with the same deductible as you. I highly suggest you shop around.
