Chassis Battery?

I realize how dumb this sounds, BUT............can anyone tell me where on this thing the engine battery is? It looks on the Ford diagram to be about where my stairs are, if so, how is it accessed?

Step should lift up although sometimes you have to climb under the rig. Just depends on how the completed vehicle manufacturer did it.

Look under the front hood, buried in the foot well, I canít remember if it was pass or drivers side. Just that it wasnít in a convenient spot...had to jump start one a wile back from his house batteries because of that.
