Checked my air filter.... Nuts!!

I found a lot of acorn fragments and other debris in the chassis air filter housing. The critter also chewed on my air filter element..

well at least you found this issue before the engine ingested unfiltered air .

Now to install substantial metal screen in front of the air intake.

If that's the only damage your lucky. I had squirrels chew almost completely through the main wiring harness on the fire wall. We're talking more than a 100 wires. They also stripped the insulation off both battery cables. I put footballs in the empty places where they stand, and a deflated one over the battery cable. That big open space under the main harness got a fully inflated ball.

Dang. Hopefully you discovered the damage before the electricity went places it should not have. Oh the joys of living in the country...
