We had a 2015 23XM, and after about went to the 26XD.

The reasons were...

* I wanted a couch (which the dogs let me use occasionally).

* We wanted to carry bikes, which the rear slide made almost impossible.

* We wanted a larger slide, with more windows and light.

* We didn't care for the separated bath in the 23XM.

* The 26XD is only 24 inches longer, but gives us a lot more space.

* We got more counter space in the 26XD.

Because the 2016 has the 6 speed transmission, we get over 11 MPG, and it is much quieter in the cab.

We're very glad that we moved from the 23XM to the 23XD!
