Hi all,

I'm just curious... does anyone here know if Entegra allows custom orders for things not on the options list? Like will they add additional outlets/wiring? Or will they replace the booth dinette with a computer desk/dining table combo?

I custom-ordered my current coach (a 2005 Newmar Mountain Aire), and Newmar was very accommodating when it came to "specials"... items the customer wanted that weren't on the list (or which came from a different model), etc. So I was just curious if Entegra Coach will do the same thing.

Thanks!

Bc bounders when we ordered ours we knew we did not want carpet in the bedroom. We talked to the dealer and he told us that the manufacturer could delete carpet and replace with tile if we wanted. That's what we did and it was not on the options list. So I guess they will do certain modifications but I don't know how much. Why not check with Entegra Coach? In my experience they are really helpful in answering questions from potential cistomers.

Saw factory people at Tampa show yesterday. Asked if they could a few changes and was told no. Wanted a fridge in basement like tour and newmar. Still no. Did not seem very flexible. These were people from factory.

We have a freezer in the basement in our Anthem but it was listed as an option when we ordered as opposed to custom.

Some things they are willing to accomodate, but as far as changing brands of freezer, they won't. We tried, but were shot down. The computer desk/dining table they do that now. They don't call it that, but it's as big as the tiffen or american table. They also add a little hutch between the table and Hide a bed.

Thanks Bill,

We WOULD call Entegra, but we're not really in the market. I was just being curious and figured I'd touch base with owners to find out what, if anything, EC would do.

Glad to hear you had a good experience. Entegra certainly has a good reputation for building a great coach AND standing behind it. That's ALWAYS something good to know! ;D

Thanks! Newmar wasn't too different than that in some regards. You can get certain things from other models, but not if they consider it "model exclusive". For instance... we wanted to get electric front window curtains in our '05 Mountain Aire, but were told we couldn't because they were "exclusive to the Essex". Wasn't worth another $75-100K to step up to an Essex, just to have electric curtains. So we live with manual ones. But they DID put in central locking on the basement doors (not a listed option), raised the height of our bathroom vanity, added extra coaxial cable for our satellite system and ran a higher gauge wire for our solar installation... all without batting an eye and for extremely reasonable rates.
