Front edge rolls

I see front edge rolls on the front 2 vertical edges of the Jayco Class C's box / coach just aft of the Ford cab's doors . I assume it is for aerodynamic purposes , how much more efficiency does it add ? or any other info about them ?

They probably help cut down the wind noise.
My '06 Jayco 33ss is quiet in the cab up to about 55 MPH.
Anything more and the wind noise gets unbearably loud.
Mine has the flat panels sticking out from the Chevy cab.
