We were staying at Cape Cod this weekend and during our routine walk around the campground to check out all the other rigs, we spotted an Entegra Anthem. Started talking to the owners and it turned out to be a a couple of fellow iRV2-ers....."Ruffin1t."

They were gracious enough to give us an unannounced tour of their rig and spent some time chatting over a cocktail. The coach was beautiful both inside and out with excellent appointments, fit and finish. It appears Jayco/Entegra hit the mark for those of us who appreciate the Travel Supreme line.

We would like to thank Barbara and Buddy for their generosity and the time they spent entertaining a couple of strangers who just showed up at their door.

Thanks again and good luck with that beautiful motorhome,

Jan & Lou

Oh boy! Looks like the Sailor is about to become a new Entegra convert, just like Gene.

When it comes to selecting a new, upscale "Plastic" coach, there just aren't that many to choose from these days......The Essex, Zephyr and Entegra.

I looked them over at the Albany OR Good Sam rally. Thought they looked pretty good but I'd still buy a Newmar. Liked the Essex or King Air but just couldn't get the wife to spring for one.

Mr_D,
I have to agree, if you are going to give me an Essex, let alone a Kingaire, for the same money I paid for my Entegra, I'm going for the Newmar!! The only problem is the Essex is about $650,000 and the last Kingaire I saw seems to me was $800 & something. A large part of the draw to Entegra is it's value. Newmar is a great product but dollar for dollar, I think Entegra is better!

As soon as the Essex loses it's dinky little bar sink in the bath, I'll consider one. But the little ones they've been using are essentially worthless for shaving, as an example. This renders it a "one-sink pony!"

Although I agree Newmar produces a good product, when we were looking to upgrade in the 08/09 time frame I felt the quality wasn't up to what I saw in the Travel Supreme lineup. Granted, we were not shopping around for a Essex or King Air, but most everything else was on the table. Since I wasn't in the market for an ultra high end rig (ie: Newell, Marathon and the like), the only other motorhome I considered was a Foretravel, but you can't find one of them in the TS price range.

This is the reason there are various manufacturers out there, because of all our individual likes and dislikes. The bottom line is to just enjoy whatever it is you drive.
