Picked up my coach today with new heavy duty hoses running from engine to Hydro Hot. The "very expensive" repair required the two hoses to be rerouted from the engine over the wastewater tank through two walls to the Hydro Hot. You could bend or tug on the old hose and hear the threads snap! Three failures later Spartan OK'd replacing both hoses with new.
Time to head South!

Hey "Joysiemon", are those the two black rubber hoses I see entering the HH at the rear LH corner? About 3/8 in. hoses?

Thems the ones........actually they are 3/4

The problem with these hoses going throughout the coach is....they are installed by Spartan and TS puts the floors, insulation etc. and "traps" them so they won't slip out. They have to be cut, drained and new ones rerouted.

WOW! Those are the flimsiest hose I've ever seen. They don't appear to be reinforced, just plain ol' rubber? No wonder they leaked. I'm surprised there aren't more instances of leakage with other coach owners.

Glad you got that taken care of...now get outta town. The "Iggles" are toast anyway. Are we going to have a Superbowl watching party for the Cowboys in Florida?
