Jayco backup camera

A friend of mine just bought a new Jayco Alante 31V class A motor home. He said his backup camera turns on when he puts the RV in reverse but he wants to keep view his morotcycle trailer when traveling and can't see how to do that. Does anyone have any info on this?

Backup camera

Mine has a on/off button so you can turn it on at any time.

The entertainment system on my Precept gives me the option to turn on my rear camera, I moved the icon from the last page to the first page for easy access.

The remote that came with it turns it on and off, adjusts the volume, and switches between 4 different views... or we can turn it on by the button on the unit. It does switch to the reverse view (with the grid on it) when we put the unit into reverse.

Like previously said you can turn on the camera from the entertainment console by drivers seat. Having the camera on full time in lower left corner of screen touch that spot and it will display 3 options selecting one of those will have the default camera on display be either left side, right side or rear view. While driving the camera will switch from the default to either left or right when you activate turn signal and also will select the rear when ever transmission in reverse.
