First check with your insurance company to see if they have RV policies. We use Progressive, and have been happy with them. Had their roadside service on our last MH and it worked well. Currently MH is covered by Ford’s coverage. When it runs out, I’ll add RSS coverage to my existing policy.

Safeco has been a good insurance company for as long as I can remember.

We too use Progressive, very reasonable for good coverage. I'm a big fan of using your local agency to shop around and find coverage. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!

I was in the insurance business for 35 years. I was an adjuster for 7 and an agent for 28. Most of the national companies are pretty good. If you go with a smaller local company you may have problems getting your claim handled on the road. Check with your states department of commerce, insurance commissioner and see who has the most complaints. Most contracts are similar, but their are small differences. I like companies that are mutual's over stock companies, because they are owned by the policyholders rather than the stockholders.
I have know people with Safeco and they have been happy. I was an exclusive agent for a mutual so I may be biased, but they treated my clients and me well for 35 years.
