Make sure your rig can handle the weight of what ever you are going to pull.
Also take your time figuring out what you "need" for how you are going to use it.
We have no intentions of dry camping so a gen was not a big deal for us. But the rig we found had one already and it was to goodnof a deal to pass up

Jayco Precept

We have a 2015 Precept 31Ul. We live in it full-time. Our dealer was 3 1/2 hours from us. Dealer near us would not work on it,because we didn’t buy it there. So made plans to return to factory. Great experience! Great people and good work. Bought extended warranty. Some good, some a major hassle. Gerard tankless water system Took us a year to get hot water. Finally learned no cold water mix. Now it does not work consistently. So contacted Gerard, what a nightmare. The Precept is a great MH over all. But none of them hold up well when you full-time. So just be prepared to repair and upgrade things as you go along. Oh! Factory does not do any warranty work if your rig is past the 2 year mark. They say they have no way to bill the extended warranty place.

Jayco using the 5 speed MB chassis instead of the latest?

How come Jayco is building this RV on a 5 speed 2 year old MB chassis. The newer MB chassis is 7 speed now?

We purchased our 7th Jayco , A Jay Flight 212QB. All I can say is that they are allowing campers to be shipped and delivered to new owners that should have never left the factory. Their inspection department is a joke!
