New to the forum

2.5 year owner of 2017 Eagle 5th wheel, model 293RKDS. Learning as I go along. Jayco manual not specific to model I have and there are some things I would like to know in case of emergency. First would be how to manually retract the 2 slide outs if needed. My fault on the walk through, was in hurry to get back home and did not think about it at the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to iRV2.

Does your manual mention any manufacturer of the slide out mechanisms ?

Lippert and Power Gear are common suppliers.

Any cranks or other tools in the RV that you don't know what they do?

If you look under the slide when it's out does the drive look like the picture below?

Thanks for the reply. Underside of slide out looks similar and is also covered so I will have to pull back, or cut out the covering to locate the motor for manual retraction.

The slide drive in the picture I posted, is a Lippert unit and they usually have an extension on the motor that is accessed on the opposite side of the RV with a crank for manual retraction of the slide .
Look for a tube with a pin through it ( or a nut on it ) on the outside of the frame rail on the opposite side . I don't have pictures but I'll try and find some.
