Smile Newbie buying Jayco Jayflight 33 RBTS needs advice

We are buying our first Trailer and signing papers in the next 2 days. I want to make sure we are making the right decision as there are many campers to choose from. We like the floor plan, but the quality and resale value is what I'm questioning. Do any of you have this model or a Jayflight and how has it held up for you. Thanks so much for the help!

Glad to have you here.

The correct trailer for you is the one that best suits your needs and the way you'll use it. Assuming the trailer is new, (you didn't say so) you will be covered under your warranty. Buying new always means we are taking the biggest depreciation hit.

My opinion, if you like what you have chosen, you'll be happy with it.

Good luck and Happy Trails!!

Another aspect to consider is your tow vehicle. I presume with a 33 foot trailer you have a one ton pick-up as a tow vehicle?

The appropriate tow vehicle is the source of never ending discussions around RV forums... so be prepared to duck! lol

A 3/4 ton will do fine for that trailer

We had a Jay Flight that was purchased new in 2005. No major issues after 11 seasons of use. Everything still worked/operated as designed (we always provided proper care and maintenance). We were very happy with ours, but sold it to upgrade to a new fifth wheel this past month. I hope we have the same level of success in service from our new unit. Jayco makes a solid trailer IMHO.
