I have a 2007 Alante and my headlights do not come on. I have all the marker lights, but no headlights. Do you know if there is a breaker that I can check?

Have not looked at mine, but headlights are amost always on separate circuit from running/tail lights. There should be an automatic circuit breaker for them in the compartment under driver. Could be bad, but check for power at the fixtures (with a 12v test light) where the wire comes out of the loom. Try to do this before the split to each light, to be sure the problem is not in a connector.

Not sure on your model.

Most newer vehicles will have a fuse and a relay for the headlights. The relay controls on and off. The fuse is for the realy.

Do they not come on at all? Have you tried the high beams?

The headlights on my rv (1998) were not working. Single lense, halogen bulbs. Checked fuse/realy and both good. Ended up that BOTH low beams were burned out. High beams worked.

Easy check!

In compartment under driver there is a 20a fuse/relay for headlights. Long and silver/metal for headlights. Sticks out farther than rest of fuses. Check that too.

No lights at all....high or low beams. The little blue high beam indicator on the dash doesn't even work !

Yep, I agree, my vote is for the smart wheel. We had trouble with our 2007 Alante, sometimes no lights, sometimes no wipers, etc. Several dealers tried to fix it, all would but only temporarily. Finally took it to Spartan at Charlotte and they fixed it in about an hour. It was in the smart wheel, the pins on one of the connectors were bad and they replaced them, cured everything that had been causing problems.
