Anyone with a newer entegra have a rather loud generator hour meter? I posted on the systems portion of the site and I understand it can be replaced...has anyone else noticed this very audible "ticking" sound or ever replaced theirs?
Thanks,
Beth

Sounds like the same thing we had on our Allegro Bus. The newer analog hourmeters are quartz controlled and have a clicking sound every few seconds. I found a quiet replacement at ENM Company - T41D45 - Panel Meters - Automation & Control - Allied Electronics which was an ENM model T41D45. It's quiet and doesn't have the clicking sound, yet you can still read it without having to run the generator, unlike the digital LCD meters.

Thanks for the replies.
Cruzer, with replacing , how do you "transfer over" the existing hours onto the new meter?

I connected mine to a 12 volt battery from a cordless drill (although any 12 volt battery will work) and ran it until it caught up, then installed it in the motorhome.
