Noob - Jayco Precept 36T

I am about to dive into RV ownership and I'm considering a used 2017 Jayco Precept 36T. I will be buying one of these this coming Saturday and would like to know if anyone else in this forum currently owns a Precept and what your thoughts on it are. What do I need to know about these beastly homes on wheels that would be helpful for future reference? How do you all like this model? How reliable are they compared to something else?

At this point, I do not plan to full-time with it anytime soon, but it is definitely something I would consider once the kids are grown and have moved on with their lives.

We don't own a Precept but do have a Seneca. Sorry I can't answer your questions but I'm sure you will enjoy your journey into the rv life.

Did you end up buying the 36T? We are also considering this motorhome. Love the floor plan and ceiling height (I'm tall). Would love to hear any feedback on this particular model.

We have just bought a Precept 34G moving up from a Class C Redhawk 27N. Most importantly, my wife loves the 34G with its exceptional ride, expanded floor space, and kitchen appliances. Being our second Jayco, we couldn’t be more pleased.

Jayco 36T

We bought a 2018 36T with 17,000 miles on it because the floorplan and overall features were very good. Traded in a four year old 41 ft. front living room 5th wheel so made some sacrifices, but so far so good. MH tends to wander at speed on the highways...may be a front end alignment issue. Not any noisier than the 350 pulling the 5er uphill so no complaints. Make sure you check the recall for the hydraulics...possible fire hazard. Love the blue colors as well. Hope you made the purchase....enjoy the open road.
