We bought our Precept in February 2014. It has been everything we hoped...so far. What I mean is that we have been on a number of short trips to check things out and to see what we might need. It has been a learning process. I've spent a lot of time just trying to read through all the manuals for different products installed in the MH.
One thing you mentioned seems to be sooo true for us....it is a lot of RV for the money. We looked for a year and nothing came close to this value. Plus, it was the only MH we found with a 2 year warranty. I test drove a number of others and compared to the Precept. Apparently the J-Ride additions to the RV do help because it handled the road best of those we tried.
Things we found to be good values: Double door refrig. with icemaker, 3 TVs (2 inside & 1 outside), 3 slides for plenty of room, well laid out kitchen with slide out counter top, microwave/convection oven combo saves space for kitchen stuff, great visibility through the windshield, driver & passenger seats are very adjustable, 2 AC units (we're in the South most of the time), Ford V10 is a proven engine, lots of storage inside and below decks, fiberglass roof, shower separate from sink/toilet, good radio with navigation, side mirrors with cameras, and quality in upholstery.
Others may feel different about these things, so I hope they chime in. The good news for us is that we are headed to Yellowstone right after July 4th and have confidence in our RV. That counts for a lot. Oh....BTW....our toad is a Jeep GC and the MH has no trouble towing it.
