SiriusXM Antenna

We have a 2018 Jayco Precept. How has everyone mounted the Sirius antenna and antenna wire other than on the inside of the windshield?

Thx!

Personally I would bring the wiring up one of the side pillars and drill a hole in the roof and mount it on top. I would however make sure you get someone who knows what they are doing when drilling through the roof. Wouldn't want to drill through wiring or anything.

If you're ever near Calgary Alberta, I could do it for you. Bit of a long drive though to get an Antenna installed

I have mine mounted in a cabinet above the driver's seat on a class A. Fiberglass is transparent to radio frequency signals so there is really no need to mount outside. I mounted mine on an "L" shaped piece of metal - you need that for a ground plane - and it has worked well for five years. Given there is some metal in the fiberglass sidewall supporting structure, mount it on the inside of a cabinet 6-8" away from the sidewall. Good luck
