It is my understanding you can purchase any brand of TV - but it may involve getting a new mounting bracket...or adapting things for the new TV to fit the old bracket.

I've been RVing since '01 and never replaced a flat-screen...only the HUGE, HEAVY tube-type back about '05 or so.

90% of the TVs and brackets are universal. Stick with one of the name brands and you should be fine.

Think about smart TV's as well. Brackets should match up to most all. Only exception I found was a 26" Jenson 12v in my 5th wheel had a mount that I didn't feel was robust enough for a 32" replacement.

Short answer: YES.

Longer answer.. Of all the TV's I have researched only one (element TV) is Made in the USA.. And I'm sad to say only ONE (ALso ELement) gets a NEGATIVE recommendation. WHY?

Since sometime in teh past (2006 I think) all TV's sold in the USA must be able to receie ATST (Over the air brodcast digital TV)
And they do that. also most (All far as I know) still do NTSC (Analog TV) But QAM (Digital CABLE) is not requried by law.
Element does not do QAM unless they have corrected since I last researched.. And since many parks have cable, and many of those digital. I thus do not recommend ELement TV.

ANy other brand.. Just fine.

If uou use Sat TV. then Element is ok too but it is a low end TV.

What model Precept do you have? I have a 16 31 ul and have replaced my tv's. You must make sure all the connections work. If you have same model and I will let you know which ones I used.

are they 12Volt TVs? if so, you have few options - but, if ‘regular’ 120v tvs that plug into an outlet, then you are welcomed to buy whatever you wish.

Tv in Precept

We have a 2015 Precept 31 UL. Think the front TV is 39in? The reason we thought to replace them is the front tv gets all the channels but bedroom tv does not and picture is not as clear. I think it is the wiring, Jayco put in a 3 way splitter and I think we should go to a two way. But can not find anyone to do that for us. And hubby is not comfortable with trying it. We are frustrated!,
