mine is a different model, BUT, if it has a bookcase with doors above it as mine does, you take the floor out of the cabinet above it (it is in two pieces and is not fastened in at all, just lays in there) By being careful then, you and a helper can lift it straight up until it comes out of the bracket, tilt it out a little at the bottom and let it back down, it will be off the wall and in your hands, you will likely need more help to get all the wiring unhooked before you can set it down. just my experience, Gene

My bracket is just like Gene's...wonder why? It's a bit of a chore getting that thing to lift off the bracket...need two strong backs for sure. And the DW to unplug the cords while you hold it in place. Not sure if we could presume yours is the same bracket...maybe different? But all brackets typically need to be lifted up to get 'em out. Some will have lock-in mechanisms so they don't come off by themselves....ours does not have this feature.

The next thing you need to decide is if the new TV's mounting holes will fit the bracket. What TV are you installing in it's place? I had to drill out new holes in my mounting plate to fit it to the new Sony I installed. Each TV will be different, so verify this in advance. When I replaced the BR TV, I did even more mods to the home-made bracket TS used. But everything is doable...just may need a little planning and re-engineering.

One last thing...be sure you have enough room around the perimeter of the new set to allow ample air flow so you don't overheat the TV. Heat is the #1 thing that kills these new TV's off prematurely. I put a small computer fan behind mine, but need to figure a better way to get the heat out of there.

Thanks for the info,Bob.I plan to swap our home TV (Sony Bravia 40" LCD) with the Pioneer in the MH. The Pioneer has a media center box that just takes up space in the entrt. center. I do have a small computer fan I can use if need arises. The Pioneer puts off a lot of heat now.
I'll scope out the bracket holes when I get the Pioneer off the wall.
I'll let you know the outcome,
Thanks again,
Mike

Mike, I have the 40 in. Bravia in mine, so it should fit. In fact, since this TV is 3-4 yrs. old, the new ones may well be a tad smaller in cabinet dimension.
