Wax/polish recommendations
I just traded the ol Monaco with it's plain finishes for a beautiful 2013 Aspire. I'd like to maintain the appearance because these rigs aren't cheap. In the past I have always kept my RV washed but I admit I'm only waxing/polishing about twice a year. I store indoors when not in use but I'd like the new rig to stay nice. Without buying buffers and polishers what kind of polish do you like on a rich Clearcoat finish?
I really like the new synthetic polishes for my toad like Turtle Wax Ice Polish, it goes on without mess and polishes easily. Any ideas? Any pros with recommendations for the "average guy"?

I store my coach inside and wax it only once a year, and after 10 years it is beautiful. More important than waxing is frequent washing, as the newer finishes hold up very well if dirt is not left on them to attack the finish.

I generally use NuFinish for a polish. I have been also using Mothers "Showtime" detailer. It works great.

I’m not a pro but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express once! So based on that, what I use is a polymer sealant on the motorhome and toad, but I use carnauba wax on my 1969 Camaro. The sealants last longer and are easier to apply but I like the look I get with wax on the Camaro. You might want to do a “Google” search on wax vs sealants. I think there are many web sites that do a pretty good job explaining the differences. The key is just "do" something and I think a polymer sealant twice a year is perfect.

Have you considered a waterless product? Here is a very good one that has approval from BOEING for use on aircraft. I've used it for over 2 yrs and fine it easy to use, but most importantly it keeps our MH lloking like NEW. RV Aircraft Boat waterless wash wax detailing cleaner

Just a quick FYI, if your coach is brand new give the paint some time to cure before applying any sealant or wax based product. Base coat clear coat continues to cure for up to 6 months and even longer. Especially on a 43' rig. After a show quality paint job we advise just to use a good car wash cleaner (plenty of suds) and keep the dirt off the paint and don't let the rinse water dry in the sun. Wipe it down when possible. Minerals in the water can spot the clear coat in the early stages of curing. After the first year a good polymer sealant of your chosing will keep it shining for a very long time. Sealants will last for a year and longer, wax not so much. I rather spend more time driving than waxing. Good looking coach I think we met while you were in Daytona? You made a wise choice!!!! Good luck

You don't say how often your rig is used/outdoors. I have to believe that if you keep it washed and stored indoors out of the elements it should look new for many years without a lot of effort on your part. A twice a year application of wax or polymer should do quite well. If you like the Turtle wax spray on/wipe off products then use them. I myself use a Protectall spray on/ wipe off product and it does just fine. Quick and easy.

RV exposure
The answer is not used enough!!!! Still working to pay my "fair share". I use my RV off and on about every other month, so I'm pretty sure polish twice a year is enough.I always admire those guys I see wiping down their RVs and waxing constantly. I guess I'm more lazy and would rather go to the beach or ride a bike.
