What's the trick to even temp using tankless?

We have a 2016 Precept 31 UL. We have never been able to get consistent temperature from the shower--it will flow hot, then cold. What are we doing wrong?

What brand / model of water heater? Does this only at the shower, other fausets are ok?

Set the digital value on the bathroom control...

If so. When showering you only use the hot water valve.
You would use open the hot water valve to gauge the temperature
If too hot turn the digital setting down, if too cold up the setting.

Others have said to first run kitchen sink before showering.

I know on my V1 system, we would get hot/cold spikes.
To help, we : removed the water pressure reducer in the original
Head outlet. We replaced head with Oxygenics.
We use an adjustable pressure regulator on external water hookup
To get at least 55 psi.

Just as posted above, only use hot water. It will drive you crazy to try and get the right temp mixing hot and cold. Also, when taking shower and you want it a bit warmer, turn down the water flow a little and it will get warmer.

Must have the correct water pressure 45-55. Use an adjustable wp regulator mot the cheap reducers . Try your fresh water tank to supply water. It will deliver correct pressure. The if that works correct pressure is the trick. If not there are other problems,

After hours of messing with our tankless we finally are using ours with very little problems. It's all about correct water flow, and pressure. Be sure to use only the hot water side, and set your water temperature at the control knob on the wall. This is not a good system for kids to operate!!

Set your temp about 108 and do not use cold water. You need a certain amount of water pressure to make the water heater turn on. Do not turn off the water to soap then rinse or you will get a cold shot. You will use more water but not get the cold shots

Had the same problem. Each campground has different water pressure. Campground owner told me the pressure at his campground was low. Removed the reducer and haven't had a problem since. I make it a habit to ask the campgrounds if they know what there water pressure is. Good luck.
