06 Knight Subwoofer wire
I updated all electronics to HDMI as well as the surround sound system. Problem is the original subwoofer is wired with 2 speaker wires. The new receiver and sub use the RCS connectors. How do I run the wire from the receiver in the DS overhead compartment to the DS slide?

You could simply wire a male RCA plug to each end of the speaker wire, keeping the same polarity. (I assume you meant RCA connector, not RCS) You won't get much in the way of signal loss over unshielded speaker wire for low frequency audio signals.

Sounds like you have a "low level output" which is used to drive external
amplifier to drive the sub or powered subwoofer. I woulld not use the speaker wire connected to the RCA connector to run a powered sub. You need
shielded cable or you will probably get hum.

Think outside the box. Is there somewhere else you can place the speaker and run a wire easier. It can be nearly impossible to run new wires especially in a slide. I spent about 6 hours yesterday running a pair of wires that had to go into a slide.

I am going to start measurements to see if I can get the small Kenwood sub-woofer installed inside the cabinet up front, at the dash. Short run and will give me more storage. Plus the sound will be coming from a better location to hear while both driving and watching TV.

Your original subwoofer used speaker-level output from the amp. New powered subwoofers require a coax cable from the amp to the subwoofer.
I too went through the electronics updating. Look at post #17 in the thread below as to how I ran the wires to the TV in the main slideout.

I upgraded to a Marantz reciever which is great - The sub woofer was a problem because powered and fiber optic was required - ended up with a sub on the floor next to the driver seat on its side - fits and sounds great

I guess the question: will it be a DVD home theater or a tuner home theater. I don't see to many of the later.
