Howdy and welcome to iRV2. I'm not sure about the air bag kits; have you contacted Monaco or perhaps an RV service department such as Camping World or your local dealer? Good luck!

What are your tire pressures set to? Over inflated tires will ride harsh.
My La Palma rides fine and my tires are all at 90lb as per the inflation chart from Michelin based on my weight.
Tail dragging won't be corrected by air bags. It's just a long tail out there. Not much to be done about it.

Is your ride height set correctly? Also, source engineering has a ride enhancement kit for your chassis which includes new airbags, shocks and sway bars. New new bags don't change your ride height. You need to set that separately (permanently). The ride height is not used to adjust while you are driving down the road.
As for your front stairs dragging, I can't picture how that is even possible when they are retracted. That means your whole front end would drag too? Sounds like your front ride height is set too low.

Your 06 Lapalma is riding on steel springs not air bags and was not designed for airbag. If you feel your front end or rear is too low (By measuring versus specs!), you could go to a good truck alignment shop who could fix it by adding or changing leaf springs. Also, your shocks might need to be changed if they are original.

yes it is on on a leaf spring chasis... but there are airbag kits available for the workhorse and freightliner chasis to improve the ride and to help raise the front r bag 3 r 4 inches which is alot..but i have not found none for the roadmaster rsr...it is a diesel pusher, but the steps on this model is a real bad design and they do drag w/out the rest of the frasme dragging

Ok now I'm really confused but that is easy to do
If its leaf spring, isn't it a workhorse or ford gas chassis? Monaco still has the brochure archive link on the very bottom of their website. I checked the 2006 lapalma and only saw ford or workhorse chassis. I didn't see any diesel pusher configuration unless I skimmed too quickly.
If its a ford or workhorse chassis, airlift has aftermarket airbags.

I have added front air bags to my W22 Workhorse[36wdd Admiral] chassis. Not too sure there is any great benefit but, it did raise the front a bit. Still experimenting with air pressure---running 25-30psi at present. 50psi gives a very stiff ride.
