06 Monaco Executive Door Awning Not Working

My Girard door awning on my 06 Executive will not extend out. I checked the fuze in the outside fuze panel in front of the front drivers tire. The only thing I hear when I push the awning out button is a relay clicking noise over the drivers seat (cabinet where you turn on satellite dish tracking). I do not hear the awning motor at all.

Thanks for any suggestions

I had this problem with mine. The way I checked the motor was to find the motor wires (mine were behind an access pannel in the cabinet above the passenger seat) and hook them up directly to a 12 or 18 volt drill battery. Turned out I had a short between the switch and the motor....Bruce

Thanks. I will try that. Was it easy to replace wires?

The awnings run off of the chassis battery...Hopefully it's not discharged...

My wires were easy to replace, I just ran new wires from the switch, up behind the vinal door trim and into the overhead cabinet, I did not have a relay to deal with, it sound like you might......Bruce
