There is a feature that when you turn on the wipers and then turn them off that the headlights stay on until the ignition switch is cycled off then on.

I wasn't aware that the wiper switch interacts with the running lights, I have the smart wheel with the flash feature for acknowledging clearance to a passing vehicle but when I have tried using it I have never received a response, so I assumed that it didn't work with the DRL.
The "Acknowledge" feature you talk about is labeled "ICC", I believe, on my rig. It only flashes the small lights mounted high on the coach, Not the headlights. Monaco said it is because it is illegal to flash headlights in some states! FWIW

That explains something that has been nagging me for a long time. Thought it was maybe a flashback from the 60's and I was seeing things. Thanks, not as crazy as I thought.
