07 Diplomat Generator won't start from dash

Starts fine from hallway switch, gen mounted switch and AGS box. Dash switch does nothing,no lights. No power at any terminal on switch,I know the start /stop works off ground, but should there be power for the lights. Any ideas before I order a new switch. Thanks for all the help!

I had a similar issue, dash switch would do nothing. I found the problem was in the wire bundle along the curb side of the generator. There were two connectors, in series, one behind the other. Obviously you need one connector in the line so you can remove the generator by unplugging the connector. But two? No! One connector was weather resistant, the other was not. If one wiggled the non-weather resistant connector, the switch would come back to life. I removed the non-weather resistant connector and left the weather resistant connector.
