Smile 07 Holiday Rambler Ambassador ownership and issues

We bought our 07 Ambassador new in March of 2007. Overall we have greatly enjoyed our motor home ownership experience-it was our first motor home purchase. We have the 40ft DFT bath and a half with a full wall slide. I have been less than pleased with the design of the full wall slides operation. (1) I have had to replace the main full wall slide rubber gasket three times. The last time it came loose across the top under the slide topper awning, allowing water to damage the rear corner of the slide out, before being found. Got it repaired at Lazydays in Florida-(they did a great job at a reasonable price.) (2) On the way home from Florida last month our turn signals went out in a hard rainstorm. I spent several hours checking fuses and light bulbs before locating a side l.e.d. marker light that had blown the top row of bulbs. Our dealer, Tom Stinnett, had to order them from Monaco. I bought two, to have a spare. Just wondering if any other full wall slide owners have had similar issues. Overall, we love motor homing!

I have a 2008 Knight DFT with full wall slide, Have had to replace the slide seal only once so far. The steel fingers that are part of the seal rusted causing the seal to fail. If the directionals are the only other problem you had had you are very lucky.
