07 HR Endeavor 40SFT

The wife and I recently purchased a 07 HR Endeavor 40SFT. First I want to say we love the coach! Great floorplan, lots of room, drives great, looks good, etc... However, we are having a bit of an issue with the full wall slide. The front of the slide (closest to the driver seat) is lower than the rest of the slide. We noticed this because the trim on the top of the slide (inside the coach) is obviously lower than the rest of the trim as you go towards the back of the coach. With the slide out you can look on top and see that the wiper seal doesn't even touch the top of the slide. It is about 1" low. I have looked all over the net for info on adjusting this up and cannot find the correct info. I found the alignment info on Lippert's site which I have checked. However this does not raise the entire slide but seems to rather adjust the "pitch" of the slide. That did need some adjustment since it seemed to be driving the slide into the floor when it is being retracted. Although that could just be because it is lower overall. The one thing I am going to try to see when I work on it next is if there is a roller that could be broken on that drive arm. Not sure if they even have rollers though. That arm is in an area where there is no compartment door so i will have to see if I can get under the coach to see it.

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

First of all, welcome to the group. There is a wealth of information and knowledge available here.

Now to your issue. My Monaco has rollers on the two rear shorter slides. However my front slides have glide plates.

Somewhere in my reading here, someone reported that part of one of the plates broke. This allowed one end of his slide to sag. He reported that eventually half if the glide broke lose causing the slide the bind and get struck.

This may be part of your problem in the early stages of development.

Good luck.

With your slide out look underneath it from the outside. There should be a delrin strip at the front and rear about 8" wide and about 1/4" thick. These are known to deteriorate and break apart. Also these slides have a manufacturing flaw where the floor of the slide meets the wall. The floor separates and allows water to penetrate and rot the floor. These two issues are likely contributing to your sag. A stainless insert for the front and rear of each slide in being sold but I have forgotten who the manufacturer is but someone may chime in or if you do some searching under Monaco slide issue you will find it I'm sure. I just corrected a similar issue and I was fortunate that my slides had very minimal water intrusion so the repair was pretty straightforward

Good luck!

The repair plates are called Guardian Plates and are manufactured by Talinrv Inc. do a search on YouTube for guardian plates and they'll come up with a video on installing and a Link to their website.

To be transparent I'm in the process of ordering a set of plates for each of my 4 slides. If you want more info pm me and I can send you some pics.

The owner Chris is a great resource and more than willing to share his experiences.

Good luck
