08 Camelot Salesman Switch Relay?
Being that we have already tripped the switch several times while looking for the overhead lite switch, and for just being clumsy , defeating the relay has just jumped to the top of the honey-do list.
I found several relays while looking in various crooks and corners, but which is the miscreant in my coach?

your coach is different than mine, but just have someone turn switch on and off and track down the noise.

On our 08 beaver, it is in the rear electrical compartment, right side on the forward wall.

Mine is in the electrical bay under drivers window. Just in front of the front wheel. Behind a black plastic cover held in place with two wing nuts.

Would be nice if they had moved that switch away from the rest. I just remember my overhead lights is top right switch in the two rows of switches.
I've only shut the power down a couple of times.

Mine is there also, but there's three wingnuts.

Sometime the easiest is the best way. As suggested, had wife click switch on/off til I found the relay.
In my 08 Camelot 40PDQ (if anyone is looking for theirs - or if/when I forget mine), it's in the big box over the muffler and stuck way back in the corner. Not the Big Boy, but the smaller one behind it and to the right.

For those of us with the Intellitec control system, or any other 12 volt technologies in our coaches, the "Salesman Switch" is a great way to "reboot" those systems, versus going to the battery cutoff switch to do it. I don't use the salesman switch when the rig is in storage, though, as there are too many other parasitic loads that are still on when that switch is off. So it's use for us is really limited to rebooting or troubleshooting.

I agree, sometimes those things do have a purpose.
On our maiden trip back home in this rig, the saleman switch somehow got bumped (coulda been a tail from a 75lb dog?). Anyways, we were still very new to the layout of things inside and wife got real frustrated fumbling around in the dark. She said it goes out!
I think it also reminded us both of the time when the relay failed in our Endeavor while we were away. It shut down the AC units and everything. Fortunately we got home before the coach got too hot for the dog.

Off subject:
Rusty, there are two relays on the gray door. One is for supplying 12v to trailer plug when key is on. The other is energized when you push the dual battery switch on the dash. It supplies 12v to coil of Big Boy solenoid to tie both battery banks together while switch is held down.

Uh-oh. Do I not have the right one? Will have to double-check. Thanks for the heads-up.
