09 Endeavor CB Mount?

Just brought the new MH home,. 2009 41 HR Endeavor PDQ, now I'm enjoying adding all the goodies to her. Problem is, I can't figure out where to install my CB radio. (not the all-in-microphone type) Doesn't seem to be any place to mount it under the dash in the traditional manner. Anyone get this done yet??

Here is a photo of how I installed the CB in our 2006 Diplomat. You will have to wait unitl the photo is approved before it can be view.

Are most Monaco's CB ready? I can't find anything about that in the manual or Monaco's website. If the radio antenna works for CB than I assume I need an RF splitter and a power source which shouldn't be a problem.

I believe it's an option that needs to be ordered. Saw it mentioned somewhere but can't find it now.

For those of us that don't have the factory option CB prep, where would you suggest an antenna be mounted, roof or sidewall? Who would you use to install an antenna and cable? BTW the local Monaco dealer to me doesn't do this.

My '09 and my '05 both came with CB prep. As near as I can tell, that consists of a $10 Antenna Specialists coat hanger on the roof, a superb job hiding the cable and connector under the dash and a search of 12V power to find a place to power the radio (*after you find a suitable place for it).
I added a "No Ground Plane "NGP" 3 foot firestik on the left side driver pillar that sticks up 12" above the roof. Works much better.

Bob (Nodine); Where your's is mounted may be my only solution. The '09's have NO lip under the dash to screw into...wasn't a problem on my '05, I was able to mount underdash over my right leg.....
