Does the coach actually have 100,000 miles on the clock? Thats a record, I think.

!00K no big deal. We had 155K on our 99Safari when we traded for this one, 70K almost on the Dynasty (06). If you are buying a coach with complete maint reacords and a picky owner you should be fine. Just things to be aware of that appear on the forum repeatedly and could be an expense...dates on tires, batt age, brakes should be fine at 100k if the PO used the jake. All could be an expense...but the 100k as an issue....no problem if the price is right and you are happy wiith the coach, ENJOY!

If you're not comfortable in what to look for in a used coach, and possibly even if you are, pay an pro to do a complete inspection. You may need two, one for the coach and one for the chassis. 100k is not too many miles, especially if it's been well cared for. Good luck.

For RV'ers who actually travel, the 100K milestone is no special feat. I bought our 2005 with 84K last December, DW and I have amassed another 10K in our first year without a hitch.
The friend from whom I bought the rig got a 2005 Newell with 90K miles, and one of my closet buddies purchased a 2005 Essex with about 45K. The Newell was plagued with electronics problems (nothing to do with mileage), and the Essex is perfect after new brake pads were installed. Another close friend had a Prevost with about 100K on it, the bus ran perfectly. He sold it, and is looking for another.
I put a new set of shocks on mine, and replaced the bushings in the anti-sway bar. It rides like a dream, and the drive train is perfect. I plan to put another 10K trouble-free miles on it this year, boosting me to about 105K before trading up to an 09 Monaco 42KFQ (DW likes that floorplan).

Our 1998 Executive now has a little over 180,000 miles and still runs like new. I may get the motor broke in this year. I don't think 100,000 is any miles at all on the big cummins. I think it's funny when lots of folks also time out their tires before they ever wear them out. I've got to replace the four in the back next week, down to the wear bars in four years.
The only thing that's been done to the motor is replacement of the exhaust manifold gaskets. Change the oil once a year and keep going. And it finally had to have a brake job at 170,000 miles last summer.

10 years old, 100,000 miles. I think there's a good chance that mechanically it's in a lot better condition than 10 years old with half the miles. Provided proper mechanical maintenance has been followed.
However, the house part may have more wear and tear. If that part is in good shape, I would think that it's a good coach.
