The numbers on the back of the solinoid. The one on the coach is 12-85 , 9kd model, it is a continuous duty solinoid . And the one that matches from the RV parts store is a 12-85, 5cc model. They are identical other than the last 3 numbers.
When I put a meter on the solinoid I get an I'm put reading of 13.6 on the top lug of 13.6 and an output reading on two of the smaller lugs of 13.6. The bottom larger lug that goes to the lug marked house power to front and rear reads .14 volts. I think I might have found my problem.
I no power in the coach right now and I by passed the selinoid and got power.

Your voltage readings do not seem to add up.

Since you bypassed the solenoid does everything work?

Here is how a solenoid should work.

Two small terminals. One should have voltage and the other should have zero volts. This is voltage that runs the coil which is just an electromagnet. This is the energized mode.

The two large terminals should have the same exact voltage under the energized mode. This thing simply shorts the two wires together. There should not be any difference in voltage on the large terminals if the solenoid is energized and working properly.

The solenoid is just a " on off valve". It turns the water on and off.

Did you buy and install that new one, or are you just bypassing it for now?
