See signature for make/model..........
The automatic cooling fan somewhere in the rear of the frig. has just started making a clanging noise for it's first 10-15 revolutions. Obviously it is hitting something until it gets rev'd up. The fan is not visible from the lower panel. Can it be accessed from the top? Let's not talk about moving the frig

Yes Hal you should be able to get to it from the top, probably a piece of insulation causing the problem.

Well Hal our fan was there on our 99 Dip and we have a different type refig in the Dyn, I guess you can depend on them changing up the location every year or so.

Hal,

I have an 07 Diplomat with the fridge in the slide with 2 outside service doors one top and one bottom. If I remove the top door I can see my fans (2) of them.

Since the refrigerator is not in the slide in PRT floorplan, you will not have a top access panel. You will more than likely need to move the refer. to access the fans.
