The best I can tell, on my 2006 Caymen 36sbd I have only 1 circuit breaker for 120 VAC outlets. I can also find only 1 ground fault reset outlet. Does anyone know, is there only 1 curcuit for the 120 VAC outlets?

I found that all but one of my 120 VAC receptacles (17 out of 18) come of one 20 amp CB on my inverter. I spoke with Monaco tech support regarding this issue and they say that is according to spec and that it meets RVIA standards. If you built a house I know that you could not put 17 receptacles (to include kitchen and bathroom) on one 20 amp CB. I'm going to give RVIA a call on Monday and I'll keep you posted.

abray,
120v cirucit routing is different from model to model and also varies between floor plans. For the most part, Monaco does run most of the outlets through one leg of the inverter, like Flyer just said. The cirucit breaker is on the side of the inverter. They do this primarily so that you will have acess to most of your outlets via the inverter while you are dry camping. This string will usually go through a GFI outlet first, thus your one GFI outlet also serves the rest. The other 120v output on the inverter will usually be dedicated to the outlet for the microwave. Sometimes there will also be a circuit breaker on the main AC distribution panel that feeds a string of outlets. These, of course will not be hot when using the inverter for AC power.
On my floor plan, the bathroom, galley, ice maker outlet and those in the front of the coach are all fed through one leg of the inverter. The bedroom outlets and the two on the road side of the coach come off one breaker on the main distribution panel.

I guess that would make sense if I had a inverter, I just have a converter. I can not believe a 37 ft coach would only have 1 20 amp circuit, sure makes electric heat hard to use!

Sorry, I didn't realize that the inverter was not standard equipment on the Cayman.

Goodness. To think that I complained when most of the heavy loads were on one 20 amp breaker in my LaPalma.
Looks like you get one circuit even if there isn't an inverter. They're saving money, probably at the expense of possible overloading.
