12V solenoid location

I have a 2005 holiday rambler vacationer 36dbd and am trying to locate the 12v house batteries solenoid. Any ideas?

I would think it would be in close proximity to your house battery bank. Just a guess. My coach is not HR. Mine is in battery bay passenger side rear. It is the Intellitec Big Boy.

Do you have manuals for your coach ?
If so is there mention of a BCC ( Battery Control Center ) that contains fuses and relays for the coach .
The box is about 10"X 8" and 3 " thick . with cover removed fuses are visible and relays are mounted behind a removable circuit board.

Donald123456-

First off, welcome to iRV2!

Second, you should add a "signature" to your profile. It contains whatever info you want; most people put info about their coach there, so they don't have to type it into each message. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

As for the solenoid, look inside the front-most storage bay on the driver's side. Inside that bay you'll find a black plastic box, about 1.5 x 2 feet. Inside that box is a circuit board. It is called the "Front Distribution Panel" (FDP). On the lower-left corner of that board is the house battery solenoid. Here is a picture of the circuit board. The circled solenoid is NOT the house battery solenoid; it is the AUX BOOST solenoid. The house battery solenoid is the black object to the left, with the yellow label. Now you know where both solenoids are, though.

You can download a copy of your coach's owner's manual at this link. Page 272 mentions the FDP, but does not provide an illustration of its components (other Monaco/HR manuals do).
