I'm looking at a 1995 40' Monaco Dyanasty (6.3 liter diesel) with 78,000 miles. Asking price is $38,000. A friends father passed away and he's trying to sell it. Sat for 2 yrs in AZ. He had it serviced and drove back to Kansas and said it drove well. Has a roof leak near a skyight and a crack on the driver's side exterior wall about half way back that has been caulked over. Otherwise looks good and clean overall. Heard it run and the generator started 1st try. Have not driven it yet.

Any advise on the big ticket items I need to check or have checked before I purchase ? Also curious if these coaches have 'typical problems'.

Thanks.

Check the date codes on the tires. Any tire much over 6 years old should be replaced no matter how much tread it has. 6 new tires MAY run over $3K
