1.) Do the brake lights work if you jump the brake switch wires?
You may have a "blown fuse" or a "malfunctioning 12V automatic reset circuit breaker".
2.) Was the replacement switch an
"exact replacement"?

3.) Did you test the new switch to make sure it was good before you paid someone install it?
4.) Did the local serviceman
install AND adjust the switch correctly?
There's about an inch of adjustment on the shaft of my brake light switch.
