2000 dynasty main floor rot

Hello Iím in the process of replacing the carpet with hardwood and found some floor rot behind the drivers seat that extends up the slide. How do I cut that out and replace do I have to remove the slideout ?

Pictures?

Talin Mfg (stone vos) makes a product that goes on the bottom of the slide, if you have rot there as well.

Interesting I too am replacing carpet and found some rot behind the passenger seat. I will be following this topic closely watching for ideas, and try to help if possible. Good luck.
