2000 dynasty sofa seat belts?

I don't pick up my dynasty until next weekend, but i have been reading the 2001 manual.

The manual says the 2001 has seat belts in the sofa bed. Does the 2000?

Monty. We have a 2000 Monaco dynasty and does not have them. I looked under sofa and could not find any anchors. You can order from Monaco supplier's for newer years.

Our 2000 dynasty does not have seat belts. If you add later let us know how you did it.

Our 2000 has a J lounge on drivers side with no seatbelts. And yes the D**m sofa is backwards. Why the original owner order it this way I'll never know.

I have a sofa bed behind the drivers seat and a j-lounge behind the passenger seat. I have 2 seat belts installed in the sofa bed.

You can purchase seat belts anywhere. The secret is how to anchor them. Lowes- not Homey has elevator bolts. These are about 3 inches in length and have a flat, large head. Drill the holes from below- after measuring if there are any electric wires where you wish to drill. Usually they are located about a couple inches from the outer skin of the slide.
I have a bunch of seatbelts that I have removed from many coaches.

In my option I don't believe that either me or my family need a seatbelt on the sofa. I tried it years ago and it is so uncomfortable sitting sideways. You always want to look out the front and you can't. I think it would be real dangerous having two people strapped in side by side. If anything happens both heads are going to collide. Probably whiplash sitting sideways would be more severe. The MH has so much mass that it has less chance of going airborne or if hitting a car it is not going to come to an abrupt halt like a car. Same logic with tour buses and school buses. Mass helps.
