Our good friend that we travel with a lot had an 02 Executive 43' with the ISM500, basicly the same coach as the Navigator. Many times we have fueled up together then +-500 more miles fueled up again and would take within a gallon of each other, so about 7.5mpg. @65mph pulling near 5000#toads.

We have a 43ft 05 Navigator w/a Series 60 Detroit Diesel. We pull a 5500 lb Lexus LX470.
I'm suspect ours is heavier than your 2000. We get between 6.8 and 7.2 mpg. At $5.00 per gallon its not fun, but what the hey. We still love it...............

Our 04 Imperial has the ISL 400. Yesterday we left Branson Mo and drove to amarillo Tx. Cruise set at 60 with a headwing off the port bow all the way. We did 7.5mpg. Today we went from Amarillo to Gallup NM with little or no wind cruise set at 60 and got 8.8 for the day. I think your mileage should be a bit less due to the increased weight but if you cool it you'll be ok. I don't think the ISC-L-M series engines are gonna do much different one to the other.
