Hello friends:

We have a 2002 Holiday Rambler, gas, bought >2 years ago...wonderful unit.

Beneath the front TV and built into the cabinet are two overhead lights. We were never able to find the switch....looked everywhere.

If you have a Holiday Rambler ~ 2002 with overhead lights built into the bottom of the wood cabinet can you please tell us where the on/off switch is located? Thanks, HEMI

Hemi...
This may sound silly...but did you look on the lights themselves? The switches on any lights we have had there were on the light or light base themselves..

Thanks MM...there is no on/off switch on the fixture itself. The fixture is the following.

1. Brass (artificial brass) cover
2. When you rotate the brass cover, the light bulb and the fixture is exposed.

I also check the bulbs...they are fine.

Thanks and I hope I hear from other HR/Monaco owners, IWD

I bet these are tied to the chassis....turn your instrument panel night light dimmer all the way up until you hear a click...the gas chassis (workhorse or ford) uses that companies lighting system..I bet they will go on after the click.

Bullydogs is right on, left roller switch up to click. I had a hard time finding that switch also.

I like using those lights as night lights.

Hemi.....When we got our coach I couldn't figure out how to turn our two map lights on. Looked everywhere, no luck. Finally, when I took it in for my punch list this was one of the items. The service writer walked over and turned the dimmer on the headlight switch.

I was a little embaraassed.

Are we talking about the two swivel type lights under the TV? If so I can just push up on the light and it turns on or twist the headlight switch and the drivers side will light. Have to admit it took me a while to figure it out.

Doesn't this mean you are running off your chassis battery? If so, it isn't usually connected to a charger like your house battery.

Let me throw my name in the hat for the less informed. Our coach has a separate switch for the passenger side light but not one for the drivers side. My 14yo son figured it out a few weeks back while camping. The drivers side light is controlled by the dash lights switch. I sarcastically (sp?)gave him the puch list and told him to fix the rest of the items. He went to the Shur-Flo fan in the kitchen. It was on the list becasue the switch on the wall would not raise or lower the cover. I had to manually raise and lower. So, he walked over to the fan, looked at it, then pulled the manual raise/lower knob down firmly. He walked over to the switch and tried to raise it. Yes, it works properlly now. He is not willing to replace the black tank flush nozzel. He said he draws the line their.
