2002 Monaco Diplomat Won’t Stay Level When Parked
We have a 2002 Monaco Diplomat. Initially it is level when parked (whether in use or not). A couple days later it leans toward the passenger side. Currently, we have a level site and are not using the jacks. Same is true when we have it parked in storage. Suggestions?

I suggest build air pressure, leak check all air bags and fittings using a mixture of dish washing liquid and water in a spray bottle or a garden sprayer. Leak could be an air bag or fitting. Spray each bag and fitting with the solution. I just repaired a leaking bag and fitting using this method.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
You obviously have a leak in your air suspension system. Our Windsor does the same thing, but it has an auxiliary pump that keeps it level even with the main air tank down. Not sure if the Diplomat has that or not.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

All air systems leak at some point. When i park my rig after a bit it starts to lean to the driver side, the heavier side as that is the side with the slides. If it bothers you, deploy your jacks. Its better to support the coach on the jacks rather than the bags after they lose pressure.

I saw this when I first got my 2001 Diplomat back in 2004 so I called Monaco. They told me that it is normal for the air bags to loose air as quickly as overnight. Sometimes they do and sometimes not.
They suggested that I always put the jacks down because you don't want the coach resting on the air bags anyway. I notice that this also keeps the coach from rocking when someone comes aboard.
My buddy in the tire business said to always keep the jacks down so as to keep as much weight off the tires as much as possible - especially when stored for long periods.
So that's what we do. As long as I have plenty of air pressure going down the road, I suppose everything is OK.

A quick update. Our repair person found a loose quick connect fitting. This has been replaced and the other fittings inspected. We are back to staying level Thank you again for your help!

Why not? Most high end rigs don't even have jacks, air leveling only using the suspension air bags. All I have is the air leveling and have no problems. When the suspension leaks down a little the aux air pump comes on and relevels. I leave it that way when stored beside the house with no problems.
